There is a mini-casino in Tacoma called the Chips/Palace. The Palace is planning to change its 15 table allocation from 10 poker / 5 table games to all 15 poker starting February 1st. As part of this process they must find an orderly and equitable way to distribute some of the table game accumulated progressive money. The amount to be distributed was over $100,000. The idea was to offer an additional payout for some of the table game side bets. For example, if you got a full house playing Pia Gow Poker you would get a additional $100. You were required to bet $5 on the bonus side bet plus $2 on the progressive bonus. I played for 3 hours and received and extra $200 for my two full house hands during that time.

They also offered an extra payout for Spanish 21 for a suited card match the dealer. They were giving an extra $100 for a $5 bet.
But, the best option was for Lucky Ladies Blackjack. This is a $10 table dealing double deck. For a $5 Lucky Ladies bet you were given an extra $50 if your first two cards equaled 20. One player made $1000 in 3 hours just on the extra bonus payout. As of this evening they have given away all but $15000 of original progressive total. They have also increased the minimum blackjack bet required from $10 to $25. But, you could not get a seat at the table. Everyone at the table was winning. It was like a party and quite a profitable return for these players.

Good for you on the 'free' $200. If you were going to be playing that game at those stakes then it is truly a 'free' $200 for you. If you went to just take advantage of an AP play then you would need to subtract the normal -EV the game has for the stakes you needed to play to get the bonus. Seems weird they would have the progressive bet still going! Anyway, I'll guess you had a good deal, and justly took advantage of it. That promotion, if limited to 100k, won't last long.
