Quote: happaheroHow about cal neva, that’s my favorite.
Love the Cal Neva, $2 pounders day and night, $5 3-2 and cheap food.
Good value for your gamble.
Quote: VegasriderI'm sure they will match whatever level you are at with Cal Neva. Honestly, I've lived in Reno for over 3 years now and have yet to step foot inside that joint
Thanks for the GSR tip! Sadly for me, a wise person once said "Twice nothing is still nothing."
Cal Neva was a great place before the poker boom. They had 7-card stud, Omaha, razz, and Hold'em of course. On our return trip a year later, we saw the same faces—obviously the casino regulars. But after the poker boom, it was all Hold'em all the time. Sad.
Last time I was there (5 years ago), it looked like they had replaced all their poker tables with beer pong tables! Not sure if they still have beer pong tourneys.Quote: smoothgrhThanks for the GSR tip! Sadly for me, a wise person once said "Twice nothing is still nothing."

They did have $3 table games: 3-2 BJ, craps, and 3CP as I recall.
Quote: happaheroI love the top deck restaurant and all thier waitresses with ankle montitoring bracelets. Their $6.99 BBQ chicken salad is seriously the most delecious salad I have eaten in my entire life.
BBQ chicken salad? Do you mean regular chicken salad with BBQ sauce?
