I made Double Platinum with them very quickly and had special (safer ) parking I used after that. Also, before that, if there was parking within a few steps of a door on any level, I used that. And walked with my keys between my fingers, ready to punch and gouge. And had my whistle ready to blow. And went back into the building and waited for them to leave, if anyone was near my car. And only unlocked 2 steps from the car, only the driver's door, then locked immediately again. And kept the windows up. And. And. And.

Not blaming the victim AT ALL. But women have to do things differently. As soon as she drew their unwanted attention, MY process is to go back in the building. Or blow my whistle. Or watch them closely to see if anyone is moving in my direction. Or whatever the case calls for, short of going to ( identifying ) my car, being vulnerable to attack while opening the door and getting in, etc.

It's that kind of a world. Even if you know you just busted out, THEY probably don't know that. Some guys are willing to find out. Let alone times when you left with cash.

I was just about to mention having some kind of weapon like a pepper spray for women walking alone in Casino Parking Garages. You beat me to the punch. On a lighter note, at least have a supersonic scream like one woman threatened to do. Albeit this woman was in the casino. She said she had a bucket full of coins in the older days and was playing on slots when some lowlife degenerate gropped her inappropriately, expecting her to flail her arms in shock so he could steal her coin bucket. Instead she said something like,"I told him calmly,"You have 10 seconds to get away from me before I start screaming with my loud supersonic scream and my 6 foot tall, 300 pound muscled husband comes to my side in seconds to see what's bothering me and I will not hesitate to tell him what you did to me. He ran for the hills." LMAO! :D
In both The Hunger Games and in gambling, may the odds be ever in your favor. :D "Man Babes" #AxelFabulous "Olive oil is processed but it only has one ingredient, olive oil."-Even Bob, March 27/28th. :D The 2 year war is over! What is so complicated about it?" Wizard, August 21st. :D

Are you saying I have to bring a gun to Biloxi to gamble?

With all this publicity, you would think so. Since HR opened, I may have visited/stayed 100-200 days, parking level 2, 98% of the time, and never noticed anything amiss. But I'm never there on weekend nights, might be the problem.

FWIW, Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi posts signs at all casino entrances prohibiting firearms. (Now, if a patron had a firearm in the car things might be different... )

Comments about this case on the BPD facebook site seems to have prompted the BPD to remove the ability of the general public to respond to any posts. Now its one way communication.
