Heading to Barcelona later this year.
Any info on casinos near the airport?

The L'Aliança casino is in a beautiful old building but I have no idea what is near the airport. We usually stay near the beach.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Due to airline prices, i'm either in Barcelona for 3 nights or 8 nights (winter time) before going on to other destinations.
3days doesn't seem enough especially since 1st day i'm going to be tired from jetlag and will just stay in my hotel.
8 seems too much. how many tourists places can i visit before it all gets jumbled together?
Which would you do?

Honestly, I would not waste my time looking for one. I stumbled into the casino downtown by the waterfront early in the morning. It was not worth it. It was a long ass walk to get there, but I was in town early. Limited number of games, payouts on the slots were poor, and the poker room was not even open for viewing. I was unimpressed. At least I was able to get a free birthday drink and sign-up promotion.
I spent 5 days 4 nights there. 3 is a bit short and 8 is way too much. Looking back at my itinerary, I've got some great paella and restaurants for you and some clubs. You can DM me if you like. Did a couple of museums and walking tours. I tried to jam pack my schedule. Segrada Familia, Gaudi Park, other Gaudi sites, Picasso Museum, Boqueria Mercado were all cool. The giant flea market was a little of a let down despite its massive size. Get yourself some good food and good wine. Imberico ham was super cheap everywhere especially at the local supermarkets. Definitely utilize mass transit, efficient and on time.
