I will never understand why people can't just mind their own business and enjoy life instead of acting like 14 year olds.

The only casino that direct deposits your
winnings into your bank account, so when
you leave you can walk to your car with
your pockets turned inside out and your
hands up.

Well who knows the real reason, but a NY Post article said:
“Two girls started this whole thing,” said a casino worker who witnessed the bloodbath unfold. “They came in with their groups. Before you know it, they started looking at each other, they started bumping into each other and then all hell let loose.”
The violence was sparked by people steamed over the long wait for daiquiris, law-enforcement sources said.

So this started because two girls started "looking" at each other. Looking at each other is the basis for confrontation. This is one of the basic tenents of prison culture, where a lot of them will be, have been, or visited.
Quote: JohnzimboThankfully they do not have casinos in prisons huh
That's true, but the people who are in prison gamble with their future before they get there.

I weep for the future. Or maybe I'm a racist. Hard to say.
Another issue is it is legal to gamble at eighteen in NYC and the video looks mostly like teenagers were behind it (and although the casino cannot sell them alcohol, trust me, they get their hands on it.) Hell, some eighteen year olds are still in high school.

Of course they want to say it was gang related, even if it wasn't. God forbid they admit non gang members act like this. They didn't look like harde core gang members to me, but that's not very scientific.Quote: GWAEArticle doesn't day what it was about. I'm sure that one white guy started it ;)
And here I thought they were fighting over free play cards.Quote: darkozAnother reason (and probably most likely) that has just been given is after waiting for quite some time for a free drink promotion several people decided to cut in line in front of waiting patrons. This is something that irks all of us but this particular night everyone was young and probably already under the influence of alcohol as it was after ten on a Friday night.

Lol, that would have been the Sands. At Resorts World, free play is printed by paper voucher at a kiosk.

Some of my favorite lines:
"This shit is lit"
"Live in Living Color"
and my favorite, "Look at the reminiscence."

They have no respect for anything. Respect begins at home but first the people that bring them into the world do is keep living like thugs and don't bother to teach respect.
The problem is that the people like this--of many different cultures and races--are much more efficient breeders than those in the same cultures and races that have been raised right. I get that even a person with the best raising can go off the rails; these folks never had rails to go off...

At least they had a good reason for a mini
riot. It could have been about nothing.

Quote: FroggerAsians are more known for cutting in line. But no asians in that video.
Years ago I was in line at the cage
at MGM Vegas. It was a long line and
I was at the front and this Asian guy
in a suit marched right by me and went
to the window that just opened.
I was furious beyond reason. He was
only 4 feet in front of me, and I yelled
HEY in a really loud voice. He had no
response so I lunged up to his side
and bent down (he was about 5' 6')
yelled HEY right in his ear. He flinched
a little but never moved a muscle.
The teller said 'do I have to call security?'
and I got back in line. When he left he
never even looked at me. When I got
to the cage she said they let them get
away with it because they're such good
customers, meaning they lose a lot of
money.
In places that don't have comp lines set up, especially before they started separate lines. People would freak out when you troll past them and bypassed the line and get seated next. I Actually used to feel embarrassed a tad bit. My dates seemed to enjoy it.
But there have been times I have had people stare and gasp, make under their breath comments, call me every name in the book, threaten me, demand to speak with management.
Now I just think F'em. Na na na I got a line pass and it's free suckers.
Quote: AxelWolfIs it possible someone had comped line passes .
He didn't have a line pass. He thought he
was too special to wait like the rest of us.
As for line cutters, I have seen plenty of 10%ers (obviously they have accomplished something) cut in line. Usually it seems that they think that their time is more valuable than every one else.

So, A new cage window opened and the Asian fellow started a new queue there. That's not unreasonable and lucky timing on his part. If you then proceeded to leave a place near to the front of the first queue, you could have stood behind him and still have been nearer to getting served. If you'd stepped out of the queue in front of me, I would not have let you push back in.

In the UK, what you did to him would have constituted the criminal offense of assault.

Quote: zoobrewAll races riot. Want to guess the percentage of white people who were in the riot at the U. of Kentucky. Talk about a stupid reason to riot. No race has a monopoly on stupidity and all races wish that some members weren't part of their race.

Yes, all races riot. Some more than others. Yes, some "10%ers" have cut in line, too. Not nearly as many as the unwashed turds who represent whatever race they are poorly. Both are showing disrespect, of course.
Make all the excuses you want--it is the bottom feeders who cause the most problem in each race with their lack of respect. They aren't the only ones lacking; they are just most prevalent.

it better.

It would have burned me up too. The teller should have said to the line in a tone clearly heard by all, "I'm sorry everybody, but we have a high priority situation here." It would have been a lie, but at least the situation would have a credible reason and a mollifying effect.
Quote: GreasyjohnIt would have burned me up too. .
I don't normally act that way. But some
things make me act irrationally, this was
one of them. I shouldn't have done it,
it would be their right to throw me out.
Seriously? What kind of self-respecting tough guy or gal even drinks daiquiris? Let alone queuing up for them? Were they strawberry daiguiris, with little paper umbrellas in them? Was this epic battle that's so fraught with deep social and political meaning the work of that fearsome notorious gang known as the South Bronx Beverage Fruits? "Yo b*tch, get outta my face or me an' my homeys gonna stomp on yo mama's cocktail condiment."
I'm outta here, so I don't get sticky sugary fruit juice splashed on my keyboard.

Obviously you have never had a New Orleans daiquiris. That Everclear 151 packs a punch.

When I had the bar, the first thing I did
was get rid of the blender. Daiquiris are
a huge pain in the ass and attracts a
type of customer I didn't want. The sippers.
Give me the two fisted hard liquor guys,
they spend the money.
