Going to AC this weekend and was wondering what the minimums are and what time (if possible) i should try to catch a $10-$15 table. Also wondering how many times the minimum i should sit down on a table to play for my trip. Thank you for your time!

I don’t know, but I will guess the lowest limit play will be available when tables open in the morning or the morning shift takes over.
I bring 60 times minimum to a table, but don’t necessarily buy in for the whole amount. I am done if I’m down 20 units or more at the end of a hand. I always have the scratch with me to split up to 4 hands and double each of them at 5 times minimum if called for. Adjust for your style of play and risk you will accept.

Last time I went, I brought 50 times minimum and I did luck out and only need to use 25 times. Something about losing 100 bucks in 4 hands puts a bad taste in my mouth so hopefully I will get lucky and find a $15 table. The hotel rooms for this weekend are between 350 and 500 a night at harrahs and Borgata (the same room is free on the weekdays) so I'm worriec that will jack the tables up too.

A few years ago, Borgata had a promo stating that they always have a $5 BJ table going. Is that still the case?

I think it is but those tables are packed with a line 24/7. Last time i was at Borgata the guy at the front on the line to get on the table said he had been waiting for 3 hours.

Do they actually have a line where you wait for a seat to open?

I don’t understand waiting in line just to play a BJ game. It’s not like they’re giving away money or free BBQ.
But it is cool that they would have one such table open.

Its cool they have a table like that, its not cool how people play at the table for 8+ hours while people wait in line. They will leave and go grab a snack and go to the bathroom and come back in 30min and the casino holds their seat. Its a nice service but also inconsiderate. On top of that half of them were making $20+ bets at a $5 dollar minimum table. I understand that people have their betting strategies where they go up and down, but it sucks to see it when people are waiting...

Depends which casino you go to. If you like CET properties, then Ballys is your best bet. They have A few low limit tables at Wild West for $10 on weekends. However, these are 6:5 Blackjack tables and they are almost always filled with youngsters who don't know basic strategy.
Harrahs also has $15 minimums on Saturday, but there are also 6:5 BJ spread out on the gaming floor.
Your best bet for low limit gaming with the lowest House Edge is probably Resorts. They have $15 on Saturday and some $10 tables during the day time Friday/Saturday.
Stay away from Caesars, Borgata, Trop and Golden Nugget as they often gouge for $25 minimums on weekends.
