Casino expansion off the ballot?

Local talk show host Harry Hurley is reporting the expansion of casinos in NJ outside of AC is being pulled from this November's ballot. The latest poll shows it losing by double digits. If it losses it can't go back on the ballot for several years so maybe it's being pulled hoping for a more favorable time to get it passed.

From what I see googling the issue, a wait of two years would be needed, and the ad campaign in favor is being discontinued, but the issue will remain on the ballot. The issue of the ballot being too vague regarding detail of tax revenue, tax rates, and the ultimate destination of the taxes seem to be a problem.

You are correct Harry has corrected himself this morning, it will still be on the ballot.
