Its a shame, very nice guy. And, he has been working here since the 50s, so he saw AC transition from a non-casino city to its current form so he always has interesting perspectives on change.
But he certainly deserves to retire, he has been working for a very long time.

I agree that he's a very nice guy. I've already missed Mr. Pinky. The Borg's food court is not the same without him now. "The Pinky's Corner" @ the food court was dismantled, and it's eradicated without a trace of "The Pinky's Corner".
Believe it or not...I was going to ask Mr. Pinky to do a radio interview on AC's card counters, who wanted to air their grievances, i.e., the casinos' abuses of patron rights.
I changed my mind when I saw Borg's managers dropped by "The Pinky's Corner". They handed Mr. Pinky a bunch of paperwork for Borg's commercials and advertisements. I googled to find out that a radio station made big bucks from sponsors such as casinos. Here is a quote:
