CET offers returning to pre-bankruptcy?
It appears from my offers for September, they are going back to the pre-bankruptcy schedule of offers.
Can others please confirm if their offers for September are going back to normal?
If so, I suspect that they realized cheapening out on comps is not going to rope customers in when facing bankruptcy.

I'm not sure where you get that information about lowering their comps by almost 90%, but I've noticed no differences from before to now. I just a regular players card holder (no diamond or 7 star or anything) and receive free room offers, free concerts, free play offers, free shopping offers every week begging me to come gamble.

I don't know if your ADT is high or you are just the exception to the rule but I am Diamond and I get a free room here and there, BOGO buffet and $10 free play! I'm not sure if it has to do with the bankruptcy or the fact that there are less rooms available in AC but my AC offers have decreased, don't know what percentage.
My Vegas offers still are pretty good but over the past 6 months they've decreased also.

Something about that doesn't sound right, at least in comparison to the offers I get.
Maybe the games you play? Maybe a long history of your play is in the system?
Maybe they don't like you ;-) are you a fairly nice guy?

My local would give me freeplay weekly to look like they were generous (I'd really go there every 2 months or so), but if I didn't put in the appropriate play each visit, they would change or stop that weekly offer.
Maybe when CET was first facing bankruptcy beancounters panicked and worried people would scorch the earth on mailers? $2400 of freeplay in a month is pretty significant. If you somehow decided you were never going back to CET, I'd cash all those in before quitting. But by now they probably see they were losing more money by being more restrictive with the offer periods. Typical CET management fail.

Not sure how much longer they will be kicking back the tolls paid to cross back and forth with the Canadian dollar dropping like it is....which means more Americans will be crossing to try their luck at $1.30 per US dollar

In your case it is probably because you were doing things like earn 100 points and get $5 or something like that your adt went to hell and so did comps.

FWIW, "pictures or it didn't happen" is a common response to claims of big hands, big comps, jackpots, whatever. I think GWAE was teasing you (he can answer himself, of course), but with some intent, with you as a relatively new member. No meanness intended, just the standard of conversation here, with so many anonymous posters making claims.
If you want to post a picture of your vouchers, let me know and I'll help you do it. If you don't want to, it would be entirely understandable IMO. You might look at the various Jackpot threads, and especially a guy named Chauncey (can't think of his exact name, but you should see him there) who has won various huge drawings and cars, and he posts a pic of the stub or check (with his name scrubbed) when he wins, for good examples of what GWAE's talking about.
I'm simply platinum due to the total rewards visa card.
After a year I assumed I would lose my status.
Was in Vegas last week, got a new players card since old one expired.
They said I was still Platinum :-)

Thanks, once again, for looking out for me - for helping me. I will accept all the help I can get, here or wherever. I assumed GWAE was 'teasing' me, your words. Not a problem. My statement(s) were true, still are. If anyone doesn't believe them, that's OK with me. I was, I am still, trying to provide some info about the TR system as a whole. I wasn't bragging, I can only assume that there are members with offers many times that of mine, and that there are members with offers that are less.
I would really like to get a 'feel' for how the system works for everyone, different local casinos, different parts of the country, different patterns of play, or games. I want to see that info shared here, where the hell else am I supposed to look for it?

yeah, I guess it's due to me no longer playing 500 points on TapHouse Poker to get 125 bonus tier credits.
instead I've been doing the minimum 75 points then playing live poker, which is more profitable.
unfortunately, it seems reward credit multiplier days don't apply to comps earned at the poker table :(

CET is very gradually converting to a system where freeplay is loaded electronically like nearly every other casino chain has already had for several years. Tunica and Hammond are attempting to go "paperless" this summer at least.

Last week I was able to get 3 free nights in AC this month: now none. Not that it matters: I am flying to AC with TR next week.
Borgata is a lot better and very consistent with free rooms / match play / buffet and show tickets IMO. I just find the fun factor is absent there: dealers are too serious.
TBH my ADT is an unmanaged mess: I play $40-60 bets @ Caesars for a few hours and will then spend the entire night @ Bally's with $5 bets. Plus occassional trips over to Harrah's for an hour or 2. I just really like dump casinos: lighting up huge cigars and knocking back beer nonstop.
These are all for different dates. This is no different than what other players get at different CET casinos. Back when I was in the good graces of Rincon my monthly offers would total $4,000 or more -- but never more than about $300 on a given day.

Indeed, and it has been quite a burden to get said free play via download. I was at CET in AC last Saturday and stayed for about 3 hours, bouncing between slots and Blackjack. I was fortunate enough to be up $300+ after 2 good sessions of BJ, so I thought I would use the free play to get some gas money.
After multiple $1 machines and contstantly re-inserting the card, no luck getting the free play! It almost became a scene, where slot attendants would watch me and then ask, "Do you need help, sir?" and I would politely decline. There is nothing they would be able to do if I asked for their help.
This method of hit or miss free play is just terrible, I can't go to a CET property where I have an offer "waiting" only to find out it can't be downloaded due to this hopelessly flawed system.
Every other property in AC has this down cold, but CET has a "delay" that clearly can go on for HOURS a night. Not a good sign if they want to rope people in for Free Play offers they can't even deliver on!
