Hey all,

I live in central Jersey and am looking for cheap craps. If I were to go to AC on a Sunday, would I have any luck anywhere? My bankroll is about $500 dollars. Perhaps there are $10 tables at least? I'd appreciate anyones insight!

You could find $10 tables almost anywhere there on a Sunday.

Unlike the Sands where there is no local competition, $10 in AC should be plentiful. Maybe $5 tables are easy to find too. Wish I could tell ya. I haven't been to AC in years, except for Xmas trips.

$5 table are not easy to find... He might try off-hours at Golden Nugget or a non-CET boardwalk place, but don't count on it.

LK, go to Tropicana for craps.

You may make some money. Just look for Craps-Tracker "Mike". You can't miss him. He uses his white and red chips to track every roll. If you can squeeze into his game, then just follow what he bets, and good luck.

The best time to catch him is from 8am to 6pm, + or - 4 hours.
I'm OK with Corps which pick and choose clienteles. Both insurance companies and casinos have the right to pick and choose customers. They may keep profitable ones and kicked out the rest. But, I'm not OK with a casino supervisor who says counting cards... is like stealing food from a buffet (a foodlifting offense), or video-taping a movie in a cinema (a piracy offense).

Interesting- I keep on hearing that the Trop is the place to go. I'm sorry, though, what exactly is a craps-tracker? Or is this a craps joke that just went way, way over my head, haha?

A craps tracker can mean 2 different things:

1) A craps tracker is an accounting program for gamblers:
http://craps-tracker.android.informer.com/

or

2) A craps tracker is a craps player (i.e., "Mike") who tracks, handicaps, and bets $100s based on his own unique tracking system.

I borrow the term "tracker" from blackjack. There is a blackjack expert in AC, who tracks the aces in blackjack games for living for 3 decades. He's known as an ace-tracker.

Tracking 10s/Faces/Aces in BJ I can understand (counting). But how does one track/handicap craps? In BJ, counters bet more when the there is a likely advantage- high value cards remaining in the shoe. What advantage(s) exist in craps to warrant betting more money?

Craps tracking is probably the same as 5 count in reverse. You place your bets only when the shooter throws 5 good numbers. It might be the beginning of a monster roll. Why keep pressing when you can start with the large bet from the beginning, but only when "junk" rolls has been eliminated.

His logic, what's the chance for a shooter to throw 7 exactly at the sixth shot. If you bet $440 inside and turn off your bets after two hits you will break even with two wins and one loss.

$10 on Sunday should be no problem anywhere. $5 craps is essentially extinct in AC. Good Luck.
