Casino can not be opened because of the electrical company? I have never heard of things like this. Would not anyone benefit when business is fully functional? Looks more like a hold up rather then a disagreement.

Even without the dispute with ACR it would be impossible to hire, train and do all the paperwork necessary to staff the casino/hotel in under 90 days. Putting to people to work at a property is not same as finding homeless people on a corner and paying them for the day to clean up a lot. In Las Vegas there was corner in North Las Vegas where homeless people would hang out to be hired as day laborers. This is not the case in reopening a casino. Even re-hiring ex-employees is time consuming. Straub might want to flip the property. If the Summer numbers look good he might be able to sell the Revel to another company for a profit.

Yes, sorry I pasted it verbatim. Some of the other boards I belong to permit copy and paste.

Plus -it would take considerable time for Straub, a "hands on" guy to personally conduct all the necessary staff interviews & adapt to the the AC employer/ employee culture- just 1 example:

I'm a bit confused on this issue as far as what's acceptable

can I copy and past if I give credit to the source ?

Mike's guidance is to quote (copy and paste) no more than 5 sentences or so, preferably those that give the gist of why you're posting about it, and include the link. If everything you wanted to bring here is in 5 sentences or less, then post the source with it, linked or not, as you prefer.
