Personally, I am more of a boardwalk visitor. Of the remaining casinos Caesar's, Bally's and Taj in that order. But I will visit others from time to time.
I like casino hopping, and typically visit at least 3 casinos per visit. I am not as big a gambler as most others so my comps are not really a factor.
For those interested here is a link to Ducktown Tavern.
http://ducktowntavern.com/

I have found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. They have FREE PARKING a crossed the street. My brother and myself have had appetizers and a meal with the bill being just under $30 for food. "I think it was 1/2 price appetizers happy hour." So prices are very reasonable. They also have more traditional dinners available for what I think are reasonable prices.
They are located on Atlantic Ave behind Boardwalk Hall a one block walk should the weather be nice.
Another place I have visited is The Imperial Inn.

It is true Chinese food not fusion. Prices are reasonable and most customers are Asian.
It is on Atlantic Ave behind the former Atlantic Club. Parking can be an issue at times as their parking lot is small. Cheap meter parking on the street though.
Another place for Asian food is My Friends Diner on the boardwalk. It is owned by Bill of Bill's Gyro fame. He also has non Asian food. It doesn't seem to get excellent reviews but I have had many good meals there.

And speaking of Bill's Gyro here is a link with reviews. The best "greasy spoon" I have ever eaten at.

When I stay at Caesars, which is often, my favorite is Harry's Oyster Bar. Love their buck a shuck oyster happy hour.

Resorts is our favorit place to stay and play. We started coming about 6 or so years ago and this was our first place. We like the smallness of it. The gaming area for us is the perfect size, we love the bars and that you can drink relatively cheap, the cocktail waitresses are great, and we love the restaurants.

I guess my least favorite would be taj. I don't mind it at all, but it's so spread out and for some reason I'm always getting myself turned around. It may not actaully be that big but it is to me.

We have quite a few favorite restaurants. We like so many that it's hard to try new ones. Carmine's is a must visit, as is landshark bar and grill. Landsharks food is good, but we love the view. Johnny Rockets is also a place we love to go for a burger and fries.

Taj, Caesars and Borgata. Off site restaurant used to like the Knife and Fork Inn at the southern most end.

Cafe 2858 (or whatever the numbers are) for Italian. Happy hour- knife and fork for half price apps. Chelsea pub for pure dive bar food. Casino.........the old Atlantic Club. The borgata is isolated and the rest of them just don't get it when it comes to customer service and offering any fun or value. At least the Atlantic club was smaller and didn't spit on customers as often as other casinos.

My favorite is Tropicana, its my usual casino. It has a very lively and younger feel, and is a lot of fun, lots of interesting bars and clubs, and in my experience they are very generous with comps (when I am home I stay there at least 2-3 nights a week at least, and I have never paid for a room or parking, and I'm not even a large player by any stretch of the imagination, but they seem to reward loyal and consistent visitation). And, I really like their location. Its a bit of a walk to the far end of the boardwalk where Revel is (or now was), but you can walk pretty much anywhere on the boardwalk or the main section from the city if you don't mind walking. Tropicana may not be the top casino economically, but it has been pretty close, and doing less bad than most during the rough times in AC, and I think there is a reason for that, its fun, finds ways to appeal to both young and old crowds, and rewards loyalty generously.

CET (at least in AC) seems to be very stingy with comps, and their casinos don't have nearly as fun of an atmosphere overall. Though, I do enjoy Bally's as I like the Wild West theme, Bally's is probably my favorite of the AC CET casino.

Borgata is really nice, but its secluded location makes it unappealing for a regular spot for me. I like to be able to access as many places by foot from wherever I am based as possible.

The Taj I like. But it never has a lively feel. The place itself is nice enough, but maybe I just am always there at bad times, but it just always feels dull and boring. But, the location is nice.

Resorts I know the least about (except for the Golden Nugget, which I have never tried yet), I have stopped there to drink a few times, while wandering up the boardwalk, but that's about it. But I can't really comment on much else on Resorts.

And, Golden Nugget, I have never been to, I keep meaning to, but I don't really like the Marina area of AC so I guess that's why I have never got around to it.

So my order of my Top 3 is:
1. Tropicana
2. Borgata
3. Bally's

My least favorite is probably Harrahs, I have had no bad experiences or anything, but its just bland and the location kills it for me. There is just nothing intriguing or interesting to draw or keep me there, just has a generic casino feel.

Do you remember when AC Club was Bally's Grand and they used to own the Knife and Fork? It was great back then.

Our favorite is Borgata. We're red card holders, but always get a midweek room, which is fine because I work Saturdays. We go to play, so we don't care that it is isolated. Second favorite is none of them. Least favorite is all the rest... not really. Least favorite is Golden Nugget, because of an incident involving a bad dealer. I'm very service oriented, but also slow to boil. If you get me hot, I'm not coming back.

When we started going to AC, in the early '00s, we went to Resorts. We moved over to Caesars during the mid '00s but left there in '08 or so, the people we liked there had moved on, leaving a lot of bad attitudes. We tried Trop, but one day did a day trip to Borgata, started getting good offers and never looked back.

Since we drive 3 hours and pass about half a dozen casinos to play at Borgata, and only go a couple-three times a year, our favorite restaurant is Old Homestead. Sure, its standard steakhouse fare. We've always had an excellent meal and excellent service. Second favorite is Ri-Ra in the City Walk, and we also like the Cuban place over there. Dos Caminos in Harrah's is okay, kind of bland for Latin food but good enough. We used to love Beachballs at Resorts, that was a damn good deli.

I remember when Atlantic Club was The Golden Nugget. A friend of mine saw Steve Wynn smoking a big fat cigar in the lobby. I'm sure UKstages would give him a pass on smoking.
Knife and Fork as far as I can remember was never owned by Bally's Grand. But I could be mistaken.
I was only at two casinos opening day. Playboy Club and Revel. Guess I am a Jinx!
Used to go to the car show/auctions at Boardwalk Hall before the casinos.
If you think A.C. is a dump now you should have seen it before casinos.

I thought the knife in fork was sold to the casino property when they had their financial troubles in the 80's. Their menus used to be in the suites of the Grand and the hosts would tell you to go over there and charge it to the room, it would be comped. Anyway the place was always a special meal out with all the fanfare and glamour.
