Are there any scheduled van/bus services to AC from the Philadelphia airport? If yes, can you book them in advance or is that even necessary? Yes, I looked on the web before posting this inquiry. No, I won't be armed. Yes, want to be dropped off at a casino door.(property of my choice)

Nah. You'll have to take SEPTA into downtown and then transfer to the NJ Transit or Greyhound. It's not really all that inconvenient. Price is $8.00 one-way to Philadephia, then the NJ Transit train is $10.00 one-way, or take the Lucky Streak bus ($20 roundtrip with a $20 casino freeplay bonus).

You can take a train directly from the airport to 30th st. station.

From 30th st. you can take a train to Atlantic City.
Just beware that sometimes the train from 30th st. to A.C. is rather infrequent.

30th street station is awfully beautiful (the Amtrak/NJ Trans side...not so much the SEPTA part). It's worth going to AC by train to see the station in Philly. Once you're at the station in AC, there's a free shuttle to any casino.

I would go with Greyhound. I took NJ Transit once up in the Northern part of the state and will never do so again. The conductor was covered in Korean gang tats, and forced my 7 months pregnant girlfriend from her seat. Go with Greyhound.
