So i assume if i put in $1000 then decided not to play and cashed the voucher at the cage, i only get $945 even tho i didn't play.

Bigger casino with like 6 table games, 3 of which were BJ.
Picked clean as well but got lucky with someone leaving and his machine was +ev.
Unlike the previous casino, this one did not give me a receipt. They just gave me the $ minus the 5.5%.

hm.. Maybe the 5.5% redemption fee is for tourists and not for locals?
Else why would both casinos be picked clean?
You need to find machines with over +5.5% ev to overcome that fee. And finding a machine in that state is usually hard with even brain dead ploppies seeing those high #s and playing it.
