I'm gonna be in Toronto for a few days next week. I'll be traveling with family, so I probably won't get a ton of time, but I'd appreciate any advice on casinos in the Toronto area - any safety concerns, easy to drive or easier to cab it, etc. I'll be at the Ritz Carlton downtown. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
If government is the answer, it must have been a very stupid question.

Thanks. Not much interest in slots; mostly craps & blackjack. I doubt I'll be driving 90 minutes each way when I'm on a trip with family. Might be able to convince my bride to take a driving break in Niagara on the way home. The smaller houses might work; how far are they from downtown?

Woodbine Slots. Thats about it. But it's kind of craP.
If you really gotta get the full experience, drive to Niagara Falls. Fallsview Casino is about 1.5 hours out of the city right next to a great natural wonder (the Falls) and Marine Land too.
No free drinks, sorry. But all things gaming available, minus the smiling faces. Not enough tourist people to dilute the sad faced local population wandering around with empty eyes.
Trust me, if you are coming for the PanAm Games you should just enjoy the city and forget scratching that itch. Otherwise take everyone to the Falls and have a family day of it.
Casino Ramma is too far for the same thing with no view, if you are wondering...

LOL Now that's a good one!
Any game can be exploitable with a lazy dealer.
