Just got back from a trip down the Mexican Riviera on the Norwegian Star, and reporting on what the situation is like in there:

2x 5$ 6:5 CSM with 1$ Wheel of Madness on BJ sidebet.
1x 15$ 7-or-8 deck (answer varied depending on who answered...) shoe game. 3:2, 1-10$ Lucky Ladies (paytable A, or a slightly shorted version towards the top). H17, DAS, SAO, no surrender.
1x 25$, see above.
1x 100$, unknown, but it looked identical to the above.

1x 5$ 3CP with PP and 6Card.
1x 10$ 3-4-5 Craps, no special bets. Table is rarely fully open, and very error-prone.
1x 5$ Let It Ride
1x 25$ Baccarat (one of the smaller variants), no sidebets.
1x 0/00 Roulette

2x http://imgur.com/8A4HL09 ...Yes, two different coin pushers in the casino, of different styles. (And a Keymaster, but those are common enough. And rigged even harder than any casino would dare try.)

Drink service is awful (but faster than Palace Station). Good luck trying to order multiple drinks. Also, I never would've considered Bailey's and coffee over ice to be a premium drink.
Comps are laughable. I'm estimating that they return about 2% of theo based on my BJ.
Very crowded. You might have to ask for a seat to be reserved or just join the crowd, circling like vultures.
Lots of errors in BJ and craps, ranging from dealer busting on 21, paying on push, paying DC/DP on 7, pressing somebody else's bet, paying BJ before checking for dealer BJ, taking winning bets, etc. Lots of errors both in favor of, and against, the player. The good news is that, due to the quality of the drink service, it's probably impossible to get drunk enough to not notice an error that favors the house.

Edit: Forgot about this-- playing two hands at minimum bet is fine; backbetting was also allowed. I had one woman riding me for four times my bet. She wanted me to stand a 16 against a 10; I decided I didn't want to get punched. Dead hand, either way, as it turned out.

Did you see penetration of the shoe? How much was cut off approximately? Was the discard rack shorter on the $100 min? This would indicate 6d

I was on the Dawn last month. I never saw a single person playing the $100 table. There was a $50 table that had small action. I am not sure how many decks they were using but penetration was almost 50%.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed. I AM NOT PART OF GWAE RADIO SHOW

Thanks, sounds pretty bad. I had heard of some cruise ships offering HL tables but am unsure of what penetration is.
