Finally, the Philadelphia Phillies hosted the Miami Marlins who made their first MLB playoff appearance in a full 162 - game regular season since they won the World Series back in 2003. The winner of that series was the Philadelphia Phillies who now have the tough task of going after the National League top - seeded Atlanta Braves who many people have picked to get to another MLB World Series this year.

I still think that the Philadelphia Phillies have a very good chance of beating the Atlanta Braves to move on to NLCS as long as they can continue to produce runs early on in games over the next several days.
