I don't know if there is a "there" in the whole email thing. It is under investigation, immunity has been granted to a staffer (usually a pretty serious sign), and it isn't going away. I don't really hear a drumbeat from the Republicans on it right now...the candidates talk about it, but the rest of them seem to be content to let it take its course. Maybe I am not hearing from them because of the noise from the election campaign; maybe I missed it. Who knows. All I do know is that this seems a lot more serious than Democrats would like to admit.
She has given us various versions of the truth while claiming to be open and transparent throughout the process. That is to say she has lied time after time during the process. Or maybe her narrative is just shifting. It is obvious she and her staff (which she is responsible for the actions of) made some very poor choices and tried to put it back on just doing things the same old way. That ignores technology completely and even perhaps the law.
I think if it was anyone else, even the Democrats would be calling her out on it. I think the constant changing of the truth would bother even the most ardent supporter enough to want her to retire to New York. The problem is that she is the anointed one and they don't really have anyone on the bench who has her name recognition. Biden may get the call to step in if something happens with the email stuff, but he is not the candidate that she is.
Anyway, I've been wrong about every election prediction this year, so I am not going to bother with predicting her demise. Her and President Clinton's history of operating on the shady side of things may never catch up to her. Then again...

I looked at Silver a bit. I've made money from his numbers in the past. Mostly my own judgement, though. I thought, there's a chance Trump doesn't even want to be president. At the time, he was just a reality TV star without much of a message. I thought the Republican establishment would be the last and impenetrable barrier. I was surprised how charitable fox and the talk radio bunch was to him, and how incompetent the party as a whole was in rooting him out. Even now, how has nobody said to Kasich: "drop out, or you are finished in politics?"
The Democrats are much better at shoving their shill down voters' throats. Before we even left the gate, it was Wall Street's choice, O'Malley and a 74 year old Jewish guy unknown to 90% of the population. And she's barely going to beat the latter!

May I suggest you vote for John Kasich? He's running 2nd in some polls for MI, with a bullet. And he's the adult in the room. I'm going to do the same if he lasts until the 15th.

They don't care. All they know is Trump has
a record of getting things done, they know
it for a fact. They also know that politicians
promise everything and usually deliver less
than nothing. They just can't do it anymore.
My wife and her sisters went to a Rubio rally
but they said the didn't like him. He's really
small and was sweating like a dock worker,
they were quite put off by him. Everybody
knows he wears boots to make him 3"
taller, but he's still got the small frame
of a 5' 7" guy. Women don't like that.

Have you ever tried to vote without showing your ID?
Of course it is standard practice to show your ID when you vote, no matter what state you're in.
No one is arguing that polling places should stop asking for IDs. The issue is when the person doesn't have an ID to show....
I believe here in Michigan if you don't have an ID to show, you can still vote if you fill out an affidavit.

she said it's very hard not to watch him.
He has presence, he fills a room with his

I watched the 45 min, trying to figure it
out. He's totally himself, he never fakes
it. He's 100% genuine, and people gravitate

Trump's news conference. Completely
ignoring Hillary and Kasich in the same
time period. This amounted to millions
of dollars of free airtime for Trump, and
zilch for Hill and John. When a CNN exec
was asked why he didn't switch over
to Hill in the middle of Trump, he said
she was just giving the same speech she
always gives, and not taking questions.
We would have lost half our audience.
There you have it, folks. Trump's presser
was between 9 and 10pm, the prime
of prime time. And he got all 3 networks
to cover it. This is why he's winning. Even
my wife, who voted for, but doesn't like
Trump, sent me an email saying he was
very charming.
