It can be very useful for building up player's club points.

But if I'm going to play Roulette, I'm going to play actual Roulette.

I play it since you can play for low stakes and enjoy the drinks. One thing I noticed about the machine at Aria is that if you be on one number to win it pays 36:1 instead of the usual 35:1 the tables play. They get you by being able to play many hands quickly as each only takes seconds between spins.

My dad plays the slots a lot and in one day he was up 15k, then 2 days later down 10k.

I dunno, maybe a grand, $1200, something like that. When I'm losing that much and that fast I usually stop pretty quickly.

Red Hawk Casino

So I just recently got back from Red Hawk Casino and was the playing one of the Double Diamond Machines. The Machine landed on the 2 Double Diamonds and the third one just missed.. It was rather strange though. The Reel seemed to "slip" on the third one. As an afterthought (wasn't too concerned at the time) I had one of the service guys check the RNG to make sure it corresponded with the physical reel. He told me that he could not "verify" it because that particular machine only went back ten games. I thought that was a little odd, given that every machine I've ever encountered could go back as far as 100 games. Was he lying to me and just didn't
want to take the effort to check it?

I doubt that the Red Hawk manufactures their own slots. They buy them or lease them just as any other casino does and while there may be various segments to the market for new and used machines, its still basically only a few manufacturers so I would therefore imagine that anything you've encountered before would pretty much be what it is like for that particular machine.
