Hello everyone, I'm looking for a well-founded explanation of the "Table Differential" at Baccarat or Punto Banco. It would be great if someone could explain the calculation behind it and what does it depend on (table minimum or maximum). Thank you very much already

You might as well ask, how are the table minimum and maximum calculated? I doubt there is a "fixed formula" for it.

In the meantime I found out that the table differential is used to be 3 times the table maximum. It seems to me that the TABLE DIFFERENTAL shows the maximum loss per game - can that be. In a game with a maximum of 6000 the differental then would be 18000 - so the gap between the banker- and playerbets is allowed to be 18000.

A table differential is the maximum difference allowed between all the Banker bets and all the Player bets. Therefore, the differential is the most the casino can win or lose on any given hand (disregarding bonuses and commission.)
If a baccarat table has a $10,000 max differential, then theoretically one player could bet $1,000,000 on Banker, just as long as another player was betting between $990,000 and $1,010,000 on Player.

Casinos are not your friends, they want your money. But so does Disneyland.
And there is no chance in hell that you will go to Disneyland and come back with more money than you went with.
