To Wizard or surrogate:
On the Introduction page, why are the COMBINATIONS for a given hand different for the 4 different pay tables?
Is it the result of simulations? i.e. RF combinations for 9/6 is 470453004 and combinations for 9/5 is 490119312.
Feel free to contact me at my email:
Thank you

It is because the different pay tables have different strategies. Presumably, there are some deals (and note there are 2,598,960 possible deals) where if you are dealt, say, three clubs, two of which are part of a Royal Flush, the strategy in 9/6 is to hold the three clubs, making it impossible to get a Royal Flush, while in 9/5 it is to hold just the two high cards, so a Royal Flush is possible.
