Hello everyone,
I have a question about the RTP of two variants of BlackJack that can be found in the only online casino that is legal where I live.
The variants in question are Classic Blackjack and Blackjack Surrender, both by Playtech.
Both have the same set of rules: 6 decks on CSM, 3:2, S17, DAS, double down on any pair of cards, no resplitting allowed (ever), no hit after split Aces, no BJ after splitting, etc.
The only differences are that:
- the Classic does not allow surrender and it's ENHC (in fact the hole card is dealt but the dealer never peeks; also it returns the second bet after doubling against a 10 if the player wins and there is a push if both the dealer and the player have naturals)
- the Surrender allows surrender and it follows the "standard" American rules, i.e. the dealer peeks for BJ
Now, it seems that the Surrender version has quite an advantage in the RTP over the Classic version as both features (surrender and US rules) are supposed to the house edge but then it just seems too straightforward and I feel that I might have overlooked something...
Can someone confirm (or deny), please?
