I'm sorry, EVS, but your question has got lost in translation. Would you please explain what it is that you are asking?
'rates in the game'?
'Need to raise'?

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are getting at. That might be why you are getting votes for 'don't know'.
Thanks

You will lose either way. You will lose less if you don't raise your bet.

I don't really understand the question but am guessing it's about an opinion on various options being considered for a new game.
(a) Player makes a bet, the game is played out and gets paid out or loses (e.g. Roulette, Place at Craps).
(b) Player makes a bet, the player sometimes may make voluntary additional bets (e.g. Blackjack with splits/doubles, Craps with Odds)
(c) Player makes an initial bet (Ante) and has to decide whether to stay in (Raise/Play) or Fold (poker-based games).
(d) Player makes a game (Ante) bet and a mandatory sucker bet; the player doesn't have to fold but can Raise under favourable conditions (technically it is possible the Ante bet is designed with bad enough rules to work so the sucker bet isn't needed).
You then have the variations in sizes of the Ante (e.g. UTH=4x 2x 1x), some poker variants allow 1x or 3x, 3CP is only 1x.

Thus I think a poll might be better if you asked for a b cx1 cx2 cx1/x3 or d.

Personally I like the 3CP mechanism.

Sounds like another Martingale justification coming up, with some wacky Roulette theory thrown in.

Hopefully everyone can get some sleep tonight with all the anticipation of this upcoming revelation that may change casino gaming forever.

I am also confused by the question.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

Do you mean that every time I walk by a roulette table and see it packed that all those people are deluding themselves?

I'M SHOCKED!

SHOCKED I TELL YOU!

OK. Now I understand... I think. And i recall your game of choice is Blackjack.

1. Flat (min) bet is the best strategy if you must play a game that's negative expectation. But that's as boring as hell, so I'll frequently play a mild progressive of 1,2,3,3 where '1' is table minimum. The only justification is that I find it amusing.
2. With BlackJack, Increase bet when the count says it's POSITIVE EXPECTATION. The amount of the wager would then be the appropriate percentage of my chosen bankroll, based solely on Kelly Criteria. Kelly et all have already done the justification on that.

3. Use pure martingale when I'm sat in a warzone with $990 in my hands and the ticket price of the only flight out is $1,000
.
.
Also increase bet size when certain bonuses are in play. Each time on its own merits.
