I play basic strategy blackjack at online live dealer casinos but have never placed side bets. All the experts say not to. The house edge too steep etc. I think the wizard says the chance of being dealt a three card flush, my first two cards plus dealer upcard, in an eight deck game is 5.88% with a 5/1 payout. ( Evolution Games }. Whilst playing the other day the cards where changed. The new decks received a quick wash/spin round the table, followed by a four pass riffle and restack shuffle. The new shoe literally poured cards out in large same suit sequences. Is there any way of gauging how this could change the odds in the players favour?
