I believe problem # 108 on math problems.info is a much simpler problem than the original problem. I believe in the original problem there was another division in the morning and again an extra coconut was given to the monkey. In the original the answer was give and the goal was to come up with an equation that would produce the correct answer to the original problem but also to the same problem given any number of people on the island. I could be wrong but that was the problem I worked on and solved.

There are two versions, one where there is a sixth division in the morning, and one without it. I've heard it asked for the 5-pirate case, and n pirates.
