Me and a couple buddies are playing double deck blackjack at the silverton casino in Vegas. The dealer has a 10 up and I'm on 3rd base holding 2-3. My buddy the right has q-9 and tucks but the dealer misread and gave him a card which was a King. The pit boss says I can have he option to take the card or stay. What should I do ? What's the breakdown

you mean "take the king or the next card" or "take the king or stay"?

if you mean "or stay" then of course that is no option. why would you want to stick with 2-3, and let the dealer has the King.

Why would you stay with a 5? You obviously take the card and then take another card. No need for any kind of break down.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed. I AM NOT PART OF GWAE RADIO SHOW

Assuming it is a game where the dealer has a hole card and the king goes back on top of the deck you should stand.
If you hit, you end up with 15 against a 10, which you should hit again fir an ev of about -0.5.
If you stand, you lose if the dealer's hole card is a 7,8,9,10,J,Q or K, but win if it is 2,3,4,5,6 as the waiting king guarantees he will bust. This gives an ev of (-7+5)/12 = -2/12 or about -0.167. So you should stand.
As and added bonus you have helped your buddy's ev as well.

And if the dealer doesn't have to hit and the king is the first card dealt in the next round, that first player will have a healthy advantage. Table max bet!
DUHHIIIIIIIII HEARD THAT!
