Hi all,

I try to read quite a lot mathematical post of both Wizard of Vegas and Teliot website, but still can not figure out how to calculate the house edge for the below rebate on loss. Is it possible to calculate the house edge for the below program? Can any one help me to explain please?
1. USD 2,500.00 – USD 3,999.99 Losses = 2.5% rebate
2. USD 4,000.00 – USD 5,999.99 Losses = 3.5% rebate
3. USD 6,000.00 – USD 7,999.99 Losses = 4.5% rebate
4. USD 8,000.00 – USD 9,999.99 Losses = 5.5% rebate
5. USD 10,000.00 Losses and above = 7.0% rebate
Cash rebate is calculated daily
Jackpot winning and lucky draw winning must be deducted in the loss
Applicable to all e-gaming machines (slots, baccarat, blackjack and roulette)

I was just playing around with teliot's loss rebate calculations. It's not a great reabte, but you can squeeze out a profit if you can play this over and over.

We need more information, like how big a bet you are comfortable with, and what game you want to play. It takes some work to find the optimal bet-size, so I just guessed:

Using banker on Baccarat, with a bankroll of $10,000 and a goal of winning $30,000 (so you finish with $40,000), if you just bet $10,000 units you have a 1.6% player edge. I'm not sure if the model is accurate at these small betting units, so take the results with a grain of salt. The edge is higher with an even lower target, but we have the same problem of the small betting units.
Wisdom is the quality that keeps you out of situations where you would otherwise need it

If it's e gaming there units are usually at best 500- there is zero edge if that is the case the small rebate won't matter at all- you would do better with offers at a later date

dung's previous threads had him trying to calculate the exposure from the casino's POV, not the player's. I think he's still trying to figure out a marketing plan, not a PA (though that's important). FWIW, and I could be wrong.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
