Here's the size betting play:
-3 of a kind, pay 5 to 1.
-Pairs on both player and banker side, pay 15 to 1.
-4 of a kind, pay 50 to 1.
-Straight flush=10% of total prize pool
-Royal flush=100% of total prize pool
However the biggest restriction is they fix the betting wager at 20 dollar only for per bet.
My question=Is it feasible to produce +EV over dragon 7 or panda 8 baccarat side bets when serious card counting is apply????
Thanks for any reply
Quote: 8025652There is a casino near my home, they offered live table style baccarat with progressive jackpot. Said casino use manual shoe in 8 decks, burnt 8 cards facedown in total in every game. Cut card depth is less than 52 but more than half deck. On my experience, each game deal at least 75 coups per shoe.

Is this just the first 4 cards dealt? Straight and Royal flushes are just 4 cards?
Straight Flush would be damn near impossible to count unless you have some serious rainman memory. If you do have rainman memory, well, you'd be better off doing something more productive.
Royal Flush could be counted, and it'd be 10x easier than the SF, but still, very difficult. Not to mention, very high variance.
In my opinion, it's not worth it. But that's up to you to decide. Just guessing here, I'd say counting it would be worth less than $5/hour, closer to $1/hour.

Quote: RSLooks like the 3 of a kind, 2 pair, and 4 of a kind are the primary payouts. Those are going to be pretty tough to count...since you'd essentially have to keep a bunch of side counts. Not easy stuff. With a lot of practice, it could be done.

Won't be too hard since you can write whatever you want on the paper. But I agree probably not worth the effort.
