wish i was smart enough to use a smartphone. My cell phone still has a pullup antenae
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

I still use a rotary dial cell from 1999.

So it generates every random number (-infinity, +infinity) at the same time?

No. It records a random value that is generated in a truly random way by the light emission source.
But then it can generate a huge number of (quasi-)immediate such numbers.

It must be a bitch to send text messages on rotary dial.

Sounds cool. Kind of like random.org, which uses atmospheric noise as the source for its randomness.

I take pictures with a camera that uses floppy-disks as "media storage" ca. 1999.
But seriously, IMHO background radiation or "sourced rad." also works.

Good advantage play. Bet you can call their phone without ever touching the dial on the rotary phone !
And don't forget : " The first dial telephone was by Alman Brown Strowger, a Kansas undertaker. In 1889, convinced that the Bell "central exchange" was diverting his incoming calls to a rival embalmer, Strowger invented the automatic switchboard system, which was controlled by a number-dialing system. "
No, he was not paranoid. The head operator was dating the rival embalmer.

Bwahahahaha. One of my friends had one of those cameras. It held like 3 pictures on one 3.5" floppy, pretty rad!

When it seems hard to recall the first digital cameras had no screena dn could store only a handful of low-res pictures, try to think back to film cartridges and one-hour photo developing (I can even recall when getting your prints the next day was a big deal).

If they would have used mini-Disc, ZIP, or MO then no-one could read it in 2014.
Just a few month ago I bought a USB-Floppydrive at work and still need to use it on occasion.
