The Casino I play at in Brantford ON has a bad beat jackpot that is currently at $105,000 for Limit Texas Holdem. In order to win 50% of the jackpot you must lose with Aces full of Jacks or better. Winner of the hand gets 25% and the remainder is split between the other 8 players.
If you lose with a full house you must have an Ace as one of your hole cards. Also both cards in your hand must play. Ex. If you have 7 2 and the board is 2 2 2 3 3 and someone has pocket 3's you will win (bad beat) becasue the 7 plays.
What are the odds of hitting the Bad Beat Jackpot???

I agree, and honestly think there is way too many variables involved to give an exact number. The math would be way to involved for me to figure, all I could do would be a guess.
Last time it was hit was on November 1st. Average tables running is 10 @ 20 hands per hour X 24 hours X 43 days = 206,400 hands.
I guess the best thing to do would be to get a history of the jackpots and accurate table count, which the casino has. Then figure it from there.
