I WAS JUST HOPING SOMEONE WOULD SHOW ME WHY I'M NOT SEEING THIS.... I'M SURE IT'S RIGHT, BUT I DON'T SEE WHY . IT IS CUT/PASTED.
SEE BELOW,, IT SAYS OUT OF 100 POINTS, IT WILL BE ON AVG A 6/8 45.45% OF THE TIME, 5/9 40% OF THE TIME, 4/10 33.33% -- WHY SHOULDN'T IT TOTAL 100% IF IT IS OUT OF 100 POINTS MADE.
On average, during the course of 100 points being established in craps: (1) How many of those would be 4/10, 5/9 or 6/8, (2) During the 100 how many times would each point (4/10, 5/9, 6/8) vs. a 7 be made?
— Jon from Danville, New Hampshire
Of those 100 points established, on average 45.45 would be on a 6 or 8, 40 would be on a 5 or 9, and 33.33 would be on a 4 or 10. You could expected on average 18.94 points made on a 6 or 8, 13.33 on a 5 or 9, and 8.33 on a 4 or 10.

25 4/10, 33.33 5/9, 41.67 6/8 is the correct answer to (1). Wherever you received this information is incorrect - please note that in practice it won't be ANYWHERE near this per session.
18.9 6/8's made, 13.3 5/9's, 8.3 4/10's is the correct answer to (2).
Edit: So #2 is correct but #1 is not, typo maybe?

Those numbers come from the odds of winning a point. So like if the point is ALREADY a 6 or 8 then how many times out of 100 will you win the bet?

Thanks a million
just to clarify - I promise to stop bugging you after this,
Out of however many rolls it takes to make 100 points, statistically, 42 of those 100 points would be a 6 or 8, 33 of those 100 would be a 5 or 9, and 25 would be a 4 or 10?
And then out of 100 points of 6/8, the point wins 45.45 of the time?
" " 5/9, the point wins 40% of the time?
" " 4/10, 33% of the time?

Correct - using that information you should be able to calculate (2).

I was just curious about the game, I played around with a craps game online and it went cold literally forever,,,,,,,and while I know it 'can ' do that it just seemed like an astronimically long time!
