Could somebody enlighten me on how this works?
Quote: ThatDonGuyApparently, I have something like 19,000 Total Rewards Reward Credits, which, supposedly, is worth about $190. However, while the website lists any number of places that supposedly take reward credits, nowhere does it say just how I am supposed to redeem them. Somehow, I don't think it's as easy as, say, going into Guy Savoy or Smashburger at Caesar's, and when the check comes/the cashier asks for your money, you flash your TR card at them.

They take out the cost of the food bill from your points. For example, I had about 300 points on my Player's Club card and I bought a chicken, rice, and mashed potatoes meal that cost $7.50. I used my points and paid $4.50 for it. :)

It is exactly that easy

They call it Quick Rewards. Very efficient, but the confusing aspect for me is sales tax. Usually if the restaurant is casino-owned, sales tax is avoided when paying with points. But when using points at an independently owned restaurant, sales tax may be assessed. If I'm trying to spend a specific amount, I'll ask in advance about the sales tax policy, but I don't always get a correct answer.

Now that I have a few minutes I can add more than what I said.
Whenever I go into a restaurant I ask 2 questions. Do you accept tr points and is the conversion 1 to 1. Meaning 100 points equals 1 dollar on menu.
After dinner I had the cashier or server my card and ask them to use points. Almost always you will pay the pretax price with points so $50 bill will be 5000 points. Debt forget to tip cant use points to tip.
