Isn't Vegas supposed to be warmer than where I live?

On Monday (9/26), from 2 PM to 6 PM, the official high temperature in Vegas (measured from North Las Vegas Airport) was 90 or lower. Meanwhile, where I live (measured at the airport in Concord, CA, up in the San Francisco area), during the same time period, it never got below 97. and reached 100 at one point.
If I want heat where I live, I'll go to Cache Creek and do some counting.

Washington has been unseasonably warm lately too. I've been enjoying it, but I do look forward to sweater weather coming up.
Casinos are not your friends, they want your money. But so does Disneyland.
And there is no chance in hell that you will go to Disneyland and come back with more money than you went with.
