Booking a Limo for around 6 hours on Sunday the 15th to go from Cosmo to Tenaya area and then downtown and back. Hitting a few favorite breweries and bars on the way. I have looked at American, Bell and Presidential. Looks like around $400 is the going rate for a 6 passenger. Anyone have any experiences or suggestions? Thanks!

I've used presidential before, for the shuttle to and from the airport. But we had the super stretch escalade, kind of pricey, but it was awesome. What made it better was that there was just 6 of us in that huge thing. Everyone was gawking at 6 dudes, in suits crawl out of that thing at the MGM, thinking who the hell are they. Little did they know we were just average joe's with suits. LOL. And the driver was absolutely great. I recommend them.

Presidential is our go-to every trip. There are drivers that are better than others (Ted is one that a lot of people have mentioned; last I talked to him, he worked days only but not sure what days...he was very good...). I'd go a size up on the limo if you are close to the capacity; don't go for a 6 pax if you have 5-6 pax...go to at least the 8.

Why not two taxis?
Max for one taxi is five persons. Strictly enforced so don't even ask the driver.
Two taxis would be cheaper than one limo, but of course there is no "pizazz" that way.
When the limo shows up as for his cell phone number.

Not a bad thought, but I think the cost for 2 from the strip to Summerlin area (where Tenaya is) might be high. Then back to downtown and then back to the strip will add up. Tenaya Creek Brewery is a couple of miles from Red Rock. Anyone ever taken a cab from Cosmo or the strip area to RR and have a cost idea?
Thanks to the others for the feedback as well.

Sortof related.....
Any idea how much would it be to have a decent limo pick you up at airport baggage claim, with a driver holding a sign with your name, for 4 people ?

There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

Do you have a host? email him. Remind him of your "usual action" ... the casino pays limosines by a flat hourly rate well below what a customer would pay. Besure to keep your host advised of schedule changes. Is it Mandalay Bay or MGM that has a room type that specfically includes limousing pickup at airport? You still tip the driver of a limo, even if the casino is paying for the limo. Driver will usually make en-route liquor store stops or the like.Quote: JohnnyQAny idea how much would it be to have a decent limo pick you up at airport baggage claim, with a driver holding a sign with your name, for 4 people ?

Yes, it looks like you are correct. Just ONE taxi from the strip to the brewery would be 45.00 and then from the brewery to "downtown" would be about 33.00 depending and then about 25.00 to The Strip, higher depending on traffic.
Be advised. Taxi service is quite different AT Red Rock than NEAR Red Rock. Taxis can wait at RR but have nowhere to wait for a return fare if your destination is near Red Rock. So dispatch speed will vary. Always get a cabby's cell phone.
If you are in any way partial to ex-twelve step program types, I'm told you should favor Presidential limousines.
