Looking for the boards general consensus on Battistas. I've been there with a group of people, the majority didn't really care for it. Just wondering what everyone else thinks. I liked it enough. Fun place I thought. Should i take my wife or go somewhere else?

The food is a 6 and the bar is a 6.5, no real reason to go there.Quote: BeardgoatLooking for the boards general consensus on Battistas. Go down the street a ways and try Tuscany Gardens Italian at the Tuscany Casino, thank me later.

The $2.50 Hot Dog and Bottle of beer at Stage Door next door is a better value. Far too many better Italian offerings in town to go to the Hole.

Battista's definitely gets a wide mix of reviews on the normal sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor.
Maybe I have been lucky, but I've enjoyed a great meal every time I have been there. My son and I went there on our most recent trip a couple of weeks ago, and it was as good as in the past (to us anyway).

You serious, Clark?

Went there a year or two ago to get drinks one evening, rather than fighting for seats for a group of 7 in a bar/lounge between Bally's/Paris. The Battista bar wasn't crowded (we might have been the only ones there), the drinks were reasonably priced (though not cheap), so I give it a thumbs if you are looking for a place to talk.
I haven't eaten there.
I haven't eaten there.
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart
