Protecting the public … in Las Vegas

Eating in Las Vegas requires diligence by the restaurants and proper health standards. Health inspections are a blessing to keep customers safe.

This particular news story is about the restaurant at the casino in Ellis Island which came under fire for dirty dining and was closed down until they cleaned up their act.

I’ve eaten there several times and was surprised by this report.
The sirloin steak special is their biggest hit.
The rib restaurant is also a big draw.

And although this story is about Ellis Island, many casino and restaurants are cited for health violations and it’s all about keeping us safe from digestive disaster.

My hat is off to Las Vegas and the health district for making Las Vegas dinning a safer environment. There is no excuse for putting people at risk with dirty dining.

So understand when you come to Las Vegas someone is watching out for you and me.

Yes, it's good they are doing this obviously and every major city does similar things. I sorta wished I hadn't read this, and I would have rather ate there in blissful ignorance. The few times we ate there, we were both quite satisfied. But I guess it will be "clean enough" 3 weeks from now when we get back to town and stay at Bally's, and my g/f will probably remain in blissful ignorance.
