What are some great places to eat breakfast? I've heard decent things about hash house a go go. Any reviews or any other suggestions?

Depends what you want and WHERE you are.
If you are out in the hinterlands of Hendertucky you can't beat that six am Egg McMuffin and Free Mimosa for two bucks at Lucky Dragon or something. You can continue to have Mimosas at the one dollar craps table. But unless you are already slumming you sure don't want to go there.

Hash House a Go Go is highly recommended but which one are you talking about? I seem to recall they opened one at the M Resort seven miles south of the strip. Why bother going there unless you are intending to stay at the M for the day.

Ellis Island has favorite coffee shop specials from Midnight to 8:00am.

My favorite breakfast place is the Venetian's small very limited no-signage buffet 22 steps from their low rollers craps table.

I like a good breakfast buffet like Harrah's which has cool stuff like congee, noodles, and samosas. The eggs/bacon/waffles trinity can get boring after a while.

Palace Station has a good breakfast buffet with $1 off for a player card. The omlet makers are great.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Keep them coming. I'm actually staying at harrahs so as of now my choices I think are the harrahs buffet and the hash house at imperial palace...

P.s. I have had the imperial palace breakfast buffet before and it was the worst food I've ever eaten. Lol that's why I am now taking sgguestions

As I wrote in what became the official WoV IP review:
Quote:

Hash House A Go-Go

This is located on the second floor. If you're looking at the property map PDF, it's shown on the first floor, labeled "Tea House." Apparently, the PDF hasn't been changed in years.

I did not eat there, or even go in. However, I DID eat at their sister location about 4 miles west of The Strip. There the food and service were excellent. Assuming the location in the IP is run and overseen by the restaurant's own management and not the IP management, then I'd recommend it.

FYI: I noticed that they HAVE changed their maps and PDF since writing that review. It IS marked correctly - although I should have noted in the review that, although it's on the 2nd floor, the spot where it's positioned on the 1st floor is the location of it's dedicated elavator.

To DJ and anyone else on this thread, feel free to stop by the SHFL booth and say hello. We will have eight new games (and eight new dealers), so there should be something for everyone to enjoy.

To anyone who has trouble connecting the dots, although I expect that to be not a lot of people....

Roger / Pacman is the ShuffleMaster executive that invited several of us to showcase our games at the two Focus Groups he had recently. The booth he's talking about is at G2E (Global Gaming Expo), 10/2 - 10/4.

Roger, you may not have realized it, but the WoV members in attendance last year were using your booth, with it's nice central location, as our home base. While we tried not to loiter or otherwise stop you and your staff from spending time with your target audience, we certainly were at your booth often.

I'm sure the same thing will happen this year. It's just that we haven't really started talking about it.

For the record, I'm got my plane, hotels, and car already booked.

And I'll have plenty of marketing materials for my revised version of Poker For Roulette.

That's quite an accolade, considering the stiff competition from the likes of Bally's breakfast operation in back of the casino floor.

I have eaten at the Hash House a Go Go in the IP as well as the original Vegas location on Sahara. I would say the food is close to the same at both. The atmosphere is a bit lacking at the IP location. Service is very friendly at both. The portions are huge so I suggest splitting with another person.

Also pretty close by is the Grand Lux Café at the Venetian which has a good breakfast. They have a decent "express buffet" and also items to order.
