I was wondering what the overall return is on the 2-way Bad Beat Bet in Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em. I didn't see it listed on wizardofodds.com. For those unfamiliar with the bet, it is a side bet that you can make if you also make a Trips Bet. It pays when both the player and the dealer have at least 3-of-a-kind (it pays the lower of the two hands) according to this paytable:
For example, if the player had a flush and the dealer had a straight, it would pay 20 to 1. If there were quads on the board, it would pay 500 to 1 as long as the player and dealer didn't have the same hand.
Thanks!
Straight Flush | 10,000 to 1 |
---|---|
Four-of-a-Kind | 500 to 1 |
Full House | 40 to 1 |
Flush | 25 to 1 |
Straight | 20 to 1 |
Three-of-a-Kind | 9 to 1 |
