There is a new game that can shown up at my local casino. Its called Six Card Poker. It is distributed by Shufflemaster. You can search for it there so I won't get in trouble for posting a link. I played it for a little while last night and found it to be alright. Nothing too exciting. The biggest advantage is when the dealer exposes a pair that is larger than your pair, which keeps you from betting an extra unit. I was wondering if anyone has done an analysis for house edge/element of risk? Optimal strategy? The two-way bad beat side bet seems like a joke to me (as most side bets are). Thanks for any replies.
