Recently I was playing Mini Bac with a man who always bet 50% of his bankroll on banker. He argued that this was unlikely to clear out his bankroll, but would result in a profit once there was a "banker run." Two hours into our night, banker won eight times. I realize that like all systems, there is still a negative expectation to this style of betting. Has anybody done analysis of this or a similar type of system in a low house edge game?

Of course. He sure did an analysis after that 8 Banker hands in a row. He did the analysis while celebrating. He was ordering some really expensive booze and the bartender told him about the time there were 9 Player hands in a row... and that guy who bets half his bankroll on Banker got down to the felt. It depends on the size of his bet and the size of his bankroll.
