Standard 10x10 grid pool that everyone has seen before.
Based on the following rules:
0-0 is a winner
Every score change including extra points is a winner
Quarter End/Reverse of Quarter End is a winner
Final Score is a winner
8 boxes touching the final score are winners
Is there a number of boxes or specific set of locations that can be chosen to guarantee at least one win?

If you picked 16 specific boxes you'd be guaranteed a win under the 8 boxes touching final score rule (assuming the board wraps around). You might be able to cleverly pick less to still cover, but i see an easy 16
