What are the usual minimum and maximum bets for regular (not high limit craps)?
For casinos that offer high limit craps, are these tables always open or only during busy hours? If its only during busy hours, what times is it usually? Is it only open on weekends?

Is high limit craps offered at almost all casinos? How rare or popular is it?

Pits always seem to raise the minimums during busier hours. It'll be $5 from breakfast til lunch, then $10 til dinner, then $15 for the evening. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays it'd be $10/$15/$25.
Maximums depend on the casino. It could be as low as $500, normal at $1,000, a bit extra at $2,000, or gambling mecca at $5,000 or $10,000. I'm gonna say the high limit rooms have a $100 minimum. Greedy touristy casinos will have $25-$50 minimums outside the high limit rooms.
Most tables have 3X, 4X, 5X odds; but the exceptions include 2X odds, 5X odds, 10X odds, 20X odds, and 100X odds.
There may be a limit of 3X the maximum PL bet in odds. Like a $1,000 PL max has a $3,000 odds maximum.

No disrespect to ChumpChange. His answers are valid.
However, a simpler response would have been: It depends.
It depends on the casino.
It depends on the day.
It depends on the time.
It depends on the managers mood.
It just depends.
YMMV Your mileage may vary.

I was curious about something in the original post. Are there casinos with separate high limit craps?
Even at Caesars Palace there is only one area for craps, though tables can be reserved for high rollers. Otherwise there is a table minimum (say $25) and a $25 player can find himself standing next to a $5,000 player.
My favorite memories were playing late at night with Rene, Celine's husband. I had the table minimum passline bet of $25 with double odds, and he stood next to me with $500 on the pass with 3x, 4x or 5x odds depending on the point.
I also played at $25 tables with players who took markers for a half million or more and were making $5,000 come bets with full odds.
Once I walked thru the private gaming area just to check out the rooms. Nevada has an open gaming law and this is permitted. I asked if there was a private room with a craps table and they said it could be arranged but normally there wasn't one.
Many years ago Caesars had a small invitation craps tournament and they did move one table into a private room just for the day.
So... does any casino really have a separate high limit craps area?

Why have a table and your top crew members idle most of the time? Even the top casinos will simply bank their craps tables with more chips if they feel a desire to have a high limit table or they will make one end of a table super high minimums for some snob and bring in a security guard to enforce it.Quote: AlanMendelsonI was curious about something in the original post. Remember to casino boss 'high limit" anything means "most trusted employees" because the casino's persistent fear is collusion.
The Venetian simply banked ALL their craps tables with an 'extra" million dollars or so and kept all crews as scheduled. Even their lowest craps table with trainee crews got an extra million added to its bank. This means there is a lack of any chokepoint for collusion or crowd flow worries.

The Hard Rock in AC has a high limit Asian room.
There is (or was) a craps table in there.

MOST casinos do not waste a crew or the space it takes.

I think you missed my point:
The AC Hard Rock is relatively new. They have a craps table in the high limit room.
