I recently downloaded the VPW software and during the test session I was dealt As Qs Ts 5s 9d. According to Wizard site playing the perfect strategy (basic with exceptions) this is listed: Right Play - 4 to a Flush: 5TQA Wrong Play - 3 to a Royal Flush: TQA
When I held all four cards the VPW software told me this was a moderate error and that the perfect play was to hold TQA.
Any advice on this?

Your hand doesn't match the patterns listed in the exception, so the exception does not apply. Change the 9d to 10d and then holding 4 to the flush is the correct play. (Verified with Wizard's hand analyzer).
