I had a friend call me and tell me he found a baccarat game where both the player and banker drew to 5 or less, no other rules. If the player or the bank won a hand 6 over 0 it was a push. no commission ,also a 0-0 tie bet paid 100-1, and a natural tie bet paid 50-1, I'm sure he said there were 4 bet spots for that player 8-8,9-9 and banker 8-8,9-9 50-1. they had a max limit of 10$ on these bets. Is this a good game.

the 100-1 payoff on O-O tie looks interesting to me, small progression maybe?

Progression betting never beats a negative expectation bet. Raising your bet only works when you can flip it to positive expectation...Quote: dickthe 100-1 payoff on O-O tie looks interesting to me, small progression maybe?
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

a 0-0 tie that pays 100:1 is still a negative expectation bet.
see https://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/basics/
note that under Egalite Bets - 8 Decks,
a 0-0 tie that pays 150 has a house edge of 12.5% or so.
if it only pays 100, the house edge is even higher.

thanks, not familiar with Egalite Bets. Are theses payoffs determined on any combination of O tie or only when it is 6 10 count cards

égalité is a French word that means "equality" i.e. tie.
As far as I know, any 0-0 tie would win the 150:1 payoff, not just 0-0 ties made up of all 0 value cards. There is nothing on the page to indicate otherwise. The numbers on that page looks like it is for all 0-0 ties too, going from my gut.
It looks to me that the 100-1 payoff for a 0-0 tie is a terrible bet.
