The Grand Waldo plays by its own rules in Macau. I wonder if someone can help me calculate the house edge. This is as far as I've gotten.
In Macau, standard 21 rules are:
-Six decks
-Dealer stands on soft 17
-Player may double on any first two cards, including after splitting
-Player may split to up to four hands, except aces may only be split once
-Player may take early surrender, except against a dealer ace
-Only lose original bet if you split or double and Dealer has a BJ.
House edge under these rules is 0.16%.
The Grand Waldo offers these exceptions:
can only split 3 times (+0.01)
but can also split Aces 3 times (-?.??)
lose both bets if you split vs Dealer BJ (+0.03)
House Edge (?.??)
The Wof Odds site says players may resplit Aces (-0.08%) but I assume that's up to 4 times, not 3. Is there a difference?
Thanks.

You got to play the hand that's dealt you, that's what the old man always said.

Do not know the correct answer but it should be very small ie around 0.01%, so instead of -0.08% it would be -0.07%.
Note that there are also interactions between the rules that effect the EV change of its rule change. ie the lose all split bets versus Dealer BJ interacts with the Aces are allowed to be splits to 3 hands rule. So you cannot take each rule change in isolation and add up the Ev for each rule change.
You need a complete recalculation of Evs combinatorially or via simulation to get a completely accurate result.
But the estimates for the Ev change for each rule added together is a good estimate (but not the completely accurate result)
So the total Ev would be around 0.13% per your calculations with an accuracy of +-0.02%.

I'm quite sure they meant only splitting to 3 hands.
Usually it is to 4 hands, but most Galaxy casinos (Rio, President and Starworld) only let you split to 3 hands. The only one that doesn't is the new Galaxy; they follow standard Macau rules.

Split to 3 hands = -0.01
Resplit Aces to 3 hands = +0..05
Lose Splits vs. Dealer BJ - 0.03
I would say the game is -0.15% +/- 0.02
not much change at all, if any.

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.
