I don't think it's a brand name, but it comes up as capitalized on the Always website, although I have a feeling that, while "Maxi" is a descriptor and probably would be capitalized in this case, "pad" shouldn't be.

Today my daughter and I started playing Wordle as challenge, using the same starting word; we alternate choosing the starting word, and today, the very first day, was my turn. When we compared solutions, it turned out we followed THE EXACT SAME PATH.

That purple inclusion in the set you mention was just WRONG, untrue to the game. First time I felt they violated their own rules in crafting it.

If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I sometimes suspect whoever makes that game is more familiar with English English. For all I know, that is a thing there.

I disagree when they said a shield and sword were weapons of Wonder Woman. I've only seen them in the movie poster and I think the battle scene in that movie.

That riddle was the first thing I thougt of when I saw the connection.

It reminded me of an episode of the BBC series The Vicar of Dibley, where, at the end, the vicar tells that riddle, only for the person she was telling it to to have pretty much the same reaction, and include the fact that a stick made of, say, redwood wouldn't be brown.

Actually, on Only Connect, it sounds like the kind of thing they wouldn't do on the Connecting Wall, but probably would do in the final round (category: Things That Are Sticky - clue: ST CK).
