There is a good chance that Mission is a paid agitator - sort of an in-game Wizard sock puppet. He apparently is Wizard's countermeasure to break up the pooling and the cooperation. Mission is the anti-SOOPOO.
It might be smart if people in this game temporarily blocked Mission.
Interesting how I'm on Nathan's team with the other members, all the other members that were captains in the last round that all voted share.
Another interesting thing, I see OD and Mission mentioned unchangeable votes, I believe votes are always changeable no matter what people say. I do remember Mr. Wizard saying he would prefer people not change their votes, but my opinion, it's just a request.
I wasn't swayed by ODs offer, don't think I even get anything from his offer, thought it went to the pool I'm not a member of.
I was swayed by anonymous member's post, I will not reveal which.

The plan has to fit the conditions of the round.
I don't see what Wizard's objectiive is on this round: He must surely see that an 'all-steal' is not going to happen, so apart from ponying up $20 on other outcomes, he has no skin in the game. Maybe this was just a reset, or maybe he has tired of it.

What new twist? The only new twist would be to start the game over and make it against the rules to pool funds.

I also want to point out that I don’t think SOOPOO’s plan was necessarily a bad one. The plan could have worked, but you can’t have the plan (or the, “Main Pool”) discussed openly. This thread would be used as a front to lend the appearance of dissension that doesn’t exist. In fact, you’d even do well to NOT have the optimal result one round (as long as it doesn’t cost much) and everyone pretends to be mad about it.
But, no, grouping together 100% AND telling the puppet master about it? Not going to work.

Mission - why would the game be over if we all cooperated? That's the point of the game, to all cooperate. The Wiz will try to get us not to with incentives, but the literal goal of the game is to cooperate and if we all did we would ALL be rewarded with Max EV every round... Big Pool - each and every round simply take as much as possible and the small pool will get either nothing or chicken scratch, as they should for not wanting to cooperate 100 pages ago with the rest of us. If everyone steals, shucks, we have a good chunk in the big pool guess everyone gets nothing until they buck up and play ball. #BigPool4Life #NoNewBigPoolPlayers
Anyway, mission, i do NOT believe Mike ends the game with fewer rounds than he has said he will offer. Regardless of how well or poorly we work together or not. And if we split $190 instead of $210 because Mike says "I give up, you guys have beaten me", I can live with that!

I’m not saying if we cooperated, I’m saying if everybody were in the pool. If everyone was in the big pool, no matter what set of circumstances Wizard were to throw out, all everyone would have to do is figure what path gets the pool the most money.
He said he can’t buy votes, so there’s no way for him to incentivize a lack of cooperation if all players are, in effect, sharing the money equally. The goal is just to make that amount as much money as possible.
I don’t know why not to trust me. I was going nuts to make sure everyone shared last round.
The object of the game is for everybody to do what’s best overall, even if there are competing individual and group interests. That’s the social experiment that takes place with a game like this, why such a game is a metaphor for life and why Wizard is interested in it. It’s a sociological experiment.
If there were no competing interests at all, then it would not mirror life. Further, all decisions would be to maximize the pool. There would be no reason to continue the game.

I will give you 50% more than your offer if just one team captain steals.

I will not even consider who's pooling or not. TBH I don't even know who Is pooling or not(I know RS, Max and Mission have a gay lover's side pool) and I have not even considered any of the pooling in my decision making)
