First, I'd like to give TomG another round of applause of breezing through the Stackzilla Challenge. Here, again, is the video:

I don't think he got proper credit because we did it on such short notice. Suffice it to say we've got a champion in our midst. However, all champions must defend their title from time to time. That said, the purpose of this thread will be on Tom's next challenge. It is, of course, up to him. However, I got the impression from Stackzilla that he is not afraid of anything.

Here is a link to some ideas: Are you hungry enough to take on these Vegas food challenges?.

I would also like to propose the day before G2E, Monday, Sept 26, as the date. Hopefully all those coming for G2E will be available Monday night for whatever challenge we may do. Hopefully it will also be convenient for Tom.

The question for the poll is which challenge, drawing from the above link, would you like to see the most? Multiple votes allowed.

The burrito challenge is too easy. Even Son of SOOPOO, who failed at 100 McNuggets, downed a 6 pound burrito at a Burrito Bay challenge. The spicy challenges are an entire different ballgame. I would say they may not correlate well with volume eating.
Since Tom said he is pretty sure he can down 150 McNuggets and thinks 200 is a possibility, that's the challenge I would like to see next.

The Ice Cream and Donut one looks like a nice little snack, I looked at all the others and thought, 'Nope.'

Hooters has their 40 ounce tbone steak challenge. I'm up for that one. The seven second pint one is a joke. Its just not worth the hassle of parking and walking to it.

The irony is not lost on me lol. I was actually thinking that exact same thing as I was reading between both threads.

So do I -- very much so.

I've seen a few young bucks try to drink a gallon of whole milk over the span of about two hours. All of them puked at about the 2/3 point. I don't think Tom could do it either. That one isn't about the quantity of food/liquid, but as I understand it, the stomach can take only so much bacteria. If the body gets out of balance it will do what it has to do to get in balance.

BLAH!

I couldn't even imagine attempting to do that. While I do actually like Milkshakes, I'm not sure I could choke down just two glasses of regular milk if you gave me an hour.

I won't be available to participate in any challenge on Sept 26th if someone wanted to do the wing challenge with me. It would have to be in August or early September.

I would also like to propose the day before G2E, Monday, Sept 26, as the date.

While the expo floor doesn't open until Tuesday, there is usually a networking cocktail reception, I believe Monday night. I could be wrong. It might be Tuesday. The official website still lists the 2015 dates for many things, but no date at all for the Welcome Reception. Does anyone still have their 2015 G2E literature?

At any rate, maybe the challenge should be Sunday, or Monday lunchtime.

For the record, I fly in to G2E on Sunday morning and leave Saturday night. Still undecided if I'll rent a car. (Damn parking fees!)

I didn't vote. As a mere spectator, I'm just there for the cheap entertainment. Although I might be tempted to order a reasonably sized steak while watching someone do a steak challenge.

Good point on leaving Monday evening open during the show. I think Tom works business hours so I'd like to suggest Sunday, sept 25. Any time is fine with me.

Eating as much as possible can be an effective way to lose weight. Do it once a day and skipping all other meals becomes pretty easy. It doesn't have to be McNuggets and pancakes, all the buffets have a salad bar and fruit.

Upon further mental juggling, I remember what I did the evenings of G2E 2015:

Monday: Galaxy Gaming event
Tuesday: Welcome Reception/Networking
Wednesday: WoO dinner at I♥️Burger
