Don't get me wrong the whole challenge is extremely hard but I kinda feel like I could do the nuggets in a hour. Never the run or the crossword but I'm bigger than David and probably could handle the sheer quantity better.

I also just might be crazy! 😀

Everybody does - until you get through the first 30 or so.

Tip #1: be warned - McNuggets get cold surprisingly quickly, and, for some reason, cold McNuggets are harder to eat. There may or may not be an unwritten rule about reheating them; for example, if it's an "unlimited time" challenge, the rule usually is, you have to be seated the entire time (otherwise, what stops someone from claiming, "I ate 1000 McNuggets - okay, it was 20 a week for 50 weeks, but that's still 1000, isn't it?").

Tip #2: mix in the occasional french fry to break up the taste monotony. This also may be against some unwritten rule ("only the chicken, McDonald's-provided sauces, and something to drink").

I have no problem eating them cold, when I am on long road trips I sometimes will grab 20, eat 10 and eat the other 10 5 hours later. I don't know, I think 60 minutes to eat 100 mcnuggets with only liquid and sauce allowed would be very doable. Running two miles however would probably take me a good 45 minutes and the crosswords would never happen lol.

as opposed to a lot of the other challenges/bets that go around here, this one often comes to fruition

so, I think preparations are in order!

PG, you might check with the Wiz, but I'm pretty sure there is a standing challenge for just the 100 McNuggets in 60 minutes -- no running or crosswords -- if you want to take it.

I'll free-roll $100 to you if you can do it. I just ask to be allowed to record it and put it on YouTube. If you want a crowd, we can get a good one together on April 16.

p.s. I hear David (SooPoo jr.) is tied for second with four more crosswords to go.

Free roll as in I don't pay anything if I don't complete it but get $100 if I do? I would be fine with taping it but I would rather do it after the weekend is over because I don't want to miss the WoV plans on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I am in town 12-21 of April.

Hey Wiz does this offer still stand from rudeboyoi's challenge?

Okay, I'll honor that again.

About the day, okay, Monday is fine. Shall we set a time? Maybe dinner afterward, for which you won't be expected to eat anything. I'd like to suggest dinner somewhere at the container park. We can decide where when we get there but I heard there is a good BBQ place. As for the challenge, I'm thinking 5:00 at the McDonalds at the D.

Maybe not a big deal since you will also be there but I think it was mentioned before that there shall be no contestants who havent given it a try prior to contest. Didn't the last person only eat like 30 or something.

I was all geared up to do it. I knew I could do it with no problems. I tried 40 for fun. I did those just fine but I knew 60 more was a no go.

"Shall be no contestants who haven't given it a try prior to the contest" is that an actual rule or is that advice? I'm confident about the first 75, it's the last 25 I'm unsure about. I actually feel like my chances of completing this is like 30%. I have participated in eating contests before, not recently but in the past. I won't make any declarations saying I guarantee anything or that is in the bag but I think I will be close atleast.

Sounds like me - except that even 10 more was a no go.

The one thing that effected me was my jaw. It was starting to hurt after chewing that tasty rubber.

Pg, I thought your real chicken comment was funny. Damn Canadiens always have that one up on us.

It is funny but sad at the same time, we had leftovers from the states one time and decided to compare them with ones from Canada on our way home from Minneapolis. The two don't even look similar. Canadian nuggets look like breaded chicken, while American nuggets look like processed crap breaded in more processed crap and then fried in dirty oil lol.

I have accepted the Wizard's McNugget eating challenge. It will take place on Monday April 18th at 5 PM at The D. I won't guarantee anything but I am confident that I will give the 100 a run for it's money (well the Wizard's money I guess). The Wizard has agreed to free roll me $100 and give me the deal he gave rudeboyoi "To incentivize a good show, I'm freerolling rudeboyoi by paying him $1 for each McNugget eaten past 50, up to 99. At 100 he still gets $100."

The Wizard will be video taping this event and anyone is welcome to come and laugh at my pain. Let the betting begin! (I am open to bribes to eat more chicken jk :P)

Edit: I really should have proof read this before posting. I think it is good now.
