Ain't Misbehavin', I hope.

Winner! Winner! Saving my Chicken Dinner!!

Another one of those songs recorded by a who's who of artists, "Ain't Misbehavin'" was written for the 1929 Broadway musical comedy play Connie's Hot Chocolates. Although the song is most associated with Lois Armstrong, the definitive version is probably by Thomas "Fats" Waller (who co-wrote the song's music) in the 1943 film "Stormy Weather".

And now, in the category Synth Pop, name that song...

All I know is that to me
You look like you're having fun
Open up your lovin' arms
Watch out here I come
Have you tried 22 tonight? I said 22.

You Spin Me Round I believe is the title. Artist? No clue. The first thing that came to mind is Bad English, but I don't think that's right.

Cinderella, she seems so easy, "It takes one to know one, " she smiles
And puts her hands in her back pockets Bette Davis style
And in comes Romeo, he's moaning. "You Belong to Me I Believe"
And someone says, "You're in the wrong place, my friend, you'd better leave"
And the only sound that's left after the ambulances go

Winner! Winner! Dizzy Chicken for Dinner!!

Described as "one of the best white dance records of all time", British band Dead or Alive would release the single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" in 1984. Seventeen weeks later (in 1985) it would top the UK charts. For those of you too young to remember the 80s or MTV back when it played music, this video kind of sums up all the hullabaloo.

Winner! Winner! Mac and Chicken Dinner!!

The one word (no spaces) spelling is how the Big Mac campaign began in print advertising. It got attention and McDonald's asked it be put to music for the TV commercials. What happened next is generally thought to be the greatest jingle of all time...

Hookin' up phrases and clauses that balance, like:
Out of the frying pan and into the fire
He cut loose the sandbags
But the balloon wouldn't go any higher
Let's go up to the mountains or down to the seas
You should always say Thank you
Or at least say Please!

I believe the train has just pulled into...

"Conjunction Junction", what's your function?

As I recall, that tune also contained the lyrics, "In the mornings, when I'm usually wide awake, I like to take a walk down by the lake, where I often see a duck and a drake, and I wonder what they would say if they could speak, although I know that's an absurd thought."

One of the "Schoolhouse Rocks" songs.

Remember "I'm just a bill, yes I'm only a bill..."?

How about, "Figure eight as two times four..."?

Man, I wasted a LOT of Saturday mornings watching cartoons!
